John Young, son of James W Young and Christina Ross, was born in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, on 5 Mar 1854 and died in Winthrop MA on 3 Apr 1924. On 5 Mar 1877, he married Annie Burbeck Skillings in Boston. She was the daughter of Thaddeus J Skillings and Eliza Burbeck, was born 30 Nov 1856 in Boston, and died 28 Feb 1938 in Bronx NY. They had 4 children:
Florence Gertrude Young, b May 1878, d May 1960, unmarried
Arthur Irving Young, b May 1880, d 4 Feb 1926, m 1901 Lois Farnham
Chester F Young, b 21 Nov 1884, d Feb 1976, m 1912 Elizabeth Robinson
Grace May Young (my grandmother), b 24 Mar 1889, d 15 Aug 1959, m 22 June 1914 Harold McNair Van Liew.
