I am searching for information on Henry Skiles/Skyles (born approx. 1773)who resided in Augusta County, VA. from approximately 1800 until his death sometime between 1830 and 1840. Henry is the father of John, Jacob and Samuel as well as several unknown daughters. I am looking for where Henry came from, parents names, wife's/daughters' names and religious affiliation (probably Lutheran or Brethren). I am related through his son John, who married Lydia Neher and went to Clinton County, IN in approximately 1844.
