I purchased the subject undated studio portrait taken by Parker, Seneca Falls, NY. It is identified on the back:
"Celeste Skidmore
wife of Thomas Skidmore who was sister in law of Mary Wilber"
The only likely match I can find on ancestry.com is for a family listed in the 1880 Census data for Medina, Orleans Co., NY, showing Thomas Skidmore, born about 1843, married to Celestia, born about 1847 in NY. Living in this same household was Thomas's mother-in-law, Lucinda Hattus, born about 1813 in NY, which means the woman in the photo bore the name Celeste/Celestia Hattus at birth, assuming this is a good match. Her occupation at the time of the 14 Jun 1880 enumeration was "Hair work." I can't find the Hattus family listed in earlier Census data.
