Sherri, I've found an addendum to the Elzabeth entry:
ADDITIONS AND CHANGES TO RICKMANSWORTH BOOK:
p. 60 ii "Elizabeth Skidmore, wife of Elija Walters (or Waters)was dead before 11 November 1827 when he married secondly Elizabeth Abbett in Owen County. He subsequently married Elizabeth Newton on 12 March 1857 in Morgan County, Indiana, and lastly Elzabeth Pascal on 19 March 1862 in Morgan County having had four wives all named Elizabeth."
Looks like old Elijah was a much married man, must have been easier having them all named Elizabeth. Good luck.
