Dear Karen
This is Cynthia Skevington, sorry it took so long
to get back to you .Concerning your Charles yes we are related.Charles was the son of William Skevington(1794-1852)and Mary Ann Barret, they married in 1817.
William was the son of Samuel Richardson Skevington.Samuel
was my 5x great grandfather. So your Charles was my 4x great uncle wow this is great.I've found family in England that have helped me alot. Now for Charles siblings are as follows
William 1818,John Barrat 1820(died),Elizabeth 1825,Edward
,Ann Sarah,Samuel.R.,James,John,These few were all baptized in 1833.I know that Charles immagrated to New Zealand,I found him on the ship records. The name of the boat was the Zealandia. They left the UK and landed at Lyttelton Wed,Sept 22,1858.Charles was on the boat with his wife and 2 children.I hope this helps.Could you send me any info you have on him.pictures etc.. If you want you can send me tour private email address if you wish.Cant wait to hear from you.
Cynthia
