Moses Skelton and his Daughter Susan in VA-1799

David Thompson married Susan Skelton in Rockingham Co., VA on 25 Oct 1799, and the marriage bond shows her father as Moses Skelton. There was also a David Thompson on the 1810 Rockingham Co., VA census, but I do not know for certain that he was the same man. Does anyone know the lineage of the David Thompson who married Susan Skelton? Thanks.
