My husband is the great-grandson of John Heade/Hayde & Mary Anne/Maryanne/Marianne (SKELLY) HEADE BARKER, both of Duleek, County Meath, Ireland, U.K. They were married 29 Aug 1889 in the Roman Catholic church Chapel of St Mary's, Drogheda, Co. Louth, Ireland, U.K. My husband's grandmother, one of their daughters, was Philomena HEADE. She married Albert VANDERBECK of Vancouver, Clark Co., Washington, USA. The only other information I have on Mary Anne is that her dad was Patrick Skelly. I am looking for any help in locating information that will help in continuing her line. Do you know Mary Anne's mother's name? etc... From the other postings, it looks like we may be related to some of you from Co. Down, Ireland, U.K. Mary and most of her children came to America in 1920. I have a copy of the ship manifest that shows their arrival into Philadelphia, PA on 08 December 1920. They traveled on the S.S. Haverford that left Liverpool, England on 12 November 1920. Her children, & their ages at the time, that came with her on the S.S. Haverford are listed below: Mary Christine Heade - 29 Josephine Heade - 26 Agnes Mary Heade - 25 James Patrick Heade - 21 Cecilia Heade - 18 Philomena Heade - 16 John Joe Heade - 9 1/2 and her two sons from her second marriage to a Mr. Barker: Patrick Michael Barker - 7 Alphol(r?)us Barker - 6 Her son, Nicholas Patrick Heade, stayed behind in Drogheda, Co. Louth, Ireland, U.K. Mr. Barker (his first name escapes me at the moment - I believe it is either Michael or Patrick) came to America about 2-4 years later.
