I need to find out for certain if the Westmoreland Joe Skelly is my Joseph. Since they may be of similar age, it is so hard. My Joseph was born about 1805, give or take a year. He married a Catherine. They had 4 children that I can document. I know that my Joseph lived in Bedford County, Pa, in 1850. Where he was living before that I do not know. I see on the census of 1840, Derry Township, that Joseph is married to a woman about his age. They have two sons and two daughters that fit the family of my Joseph. Then in 1850, there is another Joseph, aged 20. He is living with a Hugh and Mary, in Derry Township. He would not be the married Joseph of the 1840 census. Do you know where the Joseph of the 1840 census is buried? This Joseph really looks like a fit, but I need to document it further. Thank you for any help that you can give, Deborah
