Hi, I just got onto this board and have been looking thru Skellie messages. I have a journal from my ggrandmother(in her handwriting) where she had a typewritten page pasted in the beginning of the book. It seems as tho that info was from another source, as all the rest is her hand. But anyway, the typed page states "Guras Scotland", but Matilda crossed it off and above it wrote "Gurock near Scotland 12 miles". Maybe that will help. June P.
