I am interested in making contact with any descendents of Rev. John Skellie. He came from the Buffalo area of NY to the Gallina area of Illinois sometime mid-19th century. He lived with a son who farmed and left behind a daughter, Mary, who was my great-grandmother. We have many of the letters he wrote to this daughter & many of his sermons. He was Presbyterian (rather too conservative even for that august body) and I have the maiden name of his mother.
