Looking for any information on my family history.
Great Grandfather was George Edward Skellie
- left from County Clare, Ireland, but may have been directly related to Alexander's line because he settled in Cambridge, NY.
Grandfather was George Vincent Skellie.
- lived in Cambridge, NY.
married Clara Gannon (?), had 4 children.
Oldest - Edward Skellie, reported dead in WWII or Korean War- had son Edward.
Daughter- Betty Skellie
Son - Robert Skellie- my father
Youngest Son - Daniel Skellie, father of Daniel Kent Skellie - Ohio.
Any Information that you could give would be great. I wanted to do this for a long time, but didn't know where to start. Web made it easier, but took a while to get on. When I did, SKELLIE in browsers, didn't register anything or references of Civil War (Ebenezer), also have phone #'s & addresses to 187 Skellie's in the United States.
I thought that my family & my aunt's & uncle's may be the only ones. Great to see we are not. As you can see, I am definitely excited about the new possibilities that lay before me.
