NYVol. Co D "Ebenezer Skellie, Mina, promoted Corporal, Oct 27, 1863;Color guard, Mar. 1864, wounded in battle New Market Heights, Sept. 29, 1864, leg amputated, mentioned with commodation by Gen Butler for gallantry;discharged from hospital May 1865 at close of service rec. got promotion to 2nt Lt."
