We are interested in finding any and all SKELLIE participants in the Civil War. We know that Ebenezer Skellie was a soldier in the Union army from NY and that he received the medal of honor at New Market Heights. We also know that Thomas O. Skellie was a CSA vol. from Georgia. We think from near Macon or Perry, GA. His family was from NY. We also have heard that a Jack Skellie was killed at Gettysburg. He was mentioned in the PBS "Civil War" series. He and his friend, a southerner used to meet in Gettysburg at the home of their female friend. I think they were all killed in the battle. There is supposed to be a monument to them there. We need more info.
