Hi, Bobbie, I don't have anything new for you but will post the following notes for you, and hope you can find a lead that helps.

William s/o Abraham & Jane Schellinger; married Sally Riggs in Royalton, VT., Wm & Sally had 7 children that I know of 4-daughters and 2-sons, the sons were; Daniel E. born 29 Feb., 1808; William born 27 March 1815 & Reuben R. born 04 March, 1817.

I don't have any notes for Daniel E.
Reuben married Estelle Perry the only child for them that I have is Alvin L.
William had a wife Lucreta they had at least one son; Luther born ca1843 had wife Janne they lived in Brasher, St. Lawrence Co., NY. [You may want to check the census records on this one]

I don't have any children for Luther & Janne???

As far as JOEL s/o Abraham & Jane Schellinger other that what I had told you in one of the earlier e-mails, I thought at that time the Joel who lived in MI was probably his son.

Abraham s/o Abraham & Jane, I was never able to find any thing on him, other than what Jane said in her deposition of his death.

There is a cemetery in Royalton, VT. called the METCALF CEMETERY that was used by 3 generations of METCALFS and also by the Schellinger & Riggs family members, but I don't have any family member names, you may want to do some checking in VT., this note came from research that I had done by the Vermont Historical Society, several years ago.

Their address is:
Vermont Historical Society
Pavilion Bldg., 109 State Street
Montpelier, VT 05609-0901

Leo
