My connection to the Skeet family is through my husband - his grandmother was Florence Annie Page and her parents were Henry Page b 1864 and Eliza Jane Skeet b 16.11.1870 at 2 Salisbury Street, Bethnal Green. Eliza's parents were Thomas Benjamin Skeet b 1939 Bethnal Green died 1884 and Eliza Chuter b 1842 City of London d 1885. Thomas' father was Thomas Skeet b 1813 in the Bishopsgate area of London.
He had at least three other children, Jane b 1840, Edward b 1844 and Martha b 1847. Thomas Benjamin Skeet and Eliza Chuter had other children apart from Eliza Jane: James R b 1860 Bethnal Green, Willie b 1863 Bethnal Green, Thomas b 1867 Bethnal Green, Edward b 1873, Charles b 1876, Walter b 1878 and Alice b 1880.
Does anyone have any more information?
