I just wanted to know if you were related to my husband.
If Ican find what little Ihave on the Skeens I may shed some light on this.....looking......Found it!
John "Skein" and his brother Alexander received permission from king of England to survery land here..around Craven Co. NC.
John is the father of William. (John m. Nancy WHeeler)THis is info from a cousin who sent it to me via email who was relying on her memory so I hope the names and places are correct. William m. Deca Bell in 1824.
That's all I have on the ancestors. I have some of Joseph and Annie Mae descendants but I'd like to find the rest of them.
I guess if you'd be one of them, you'd know it.
