I am also researhing SKARKAs.

I have a Mary SKARKA m. Charles TERZO in Rochester, NY 1920

Mary is listed on the 1920 US Fed Census as a niece in my immigrant GGF's household. He was Paul KUBICA. I would love to know more about how these families were related.

I have found Mary as a ten year old in her own family's household on the 1910 Census:
Joseph, 37
Barbara 35
John 12
Mary 10

I found Joseph on Ellis Island:
Date of Arrival June 7, 1897 age 19 from BOH

Anyone know any more?
