Hi, I have limited info to help, but which Peter Skaggs are you referring to? Peter Skaggs born 1765-1771 and Martha Cohun/Cothrun who died in Lawrence County, Kentucky are my ancestors. This Peter would be born too late to be the son of Solomon, but considered by most researchers to be his brother. I have no proof that either was son of Zachariah Skaggs and wife Anne "Nan", but some folks make that claim. Anne's name is unknown. The Zachariah Skaggs who married Nancy Wilcox, was born about 1789 and married Nancy Wilcox 1822 in Barren County, Kentucky therefore this fella was born after Peter and Solomon and could not be their father. I have info on several Peter Skaggses, but need to know approximate birth date and who they married etc.
