Warren Wells Sizer born 1822 and his brother Eber R. Szier owned a ranch called Sizer's Ranch in Las Animas on the Purgatoire River In 1884 Warren moved to Harbert Michigan and farmed fruit and vegetables. Eber Rockwell Sizer lived at Sizer's ranch for many years and engaged in stock raising and farming. He was a recognized authority on horticulture in Colorado. If thats any help (I doubt it but thats all I know in the way of farming, plantations etc. and the sizers)
