February 21, 1924 - January 13, 2009 Emma Frances Fambrough Sizemore, 84, passed away on January 13, 2009. Mrs. Sizemore was born in Leesburg, VA, on February 21, 1924, to the late Roy Deerwood and Agnes (Davis) Fambrough. She grew up in Taylorstown, VA, spending much of her time as a young girl working in her father's Taylorstown Store. Mrs. Sizemore was a long time member of the Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church in Taylorstown. After marrying her late husband, Bernard, they lived in the Lucketts area for many years where they raised their two sons, Bobby and Kenny. She was a loving grandmother to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was well liked by everyone in the community who was blessed to know her. When no longer able to live alone, Mrs. Sizemore made the decision to move to Madison House in Leesburg, VA. Soon after moving in, she quickly became a friend to all. She was described as a 'mother hen' type, tending the needs of those around her. While living at Madison House, she cooked for at least 50 percent of her neighbors there. She was happiest when doing something nice for someone else, saying it made her day. She also enjoyed her hobby of reading, often doing so for two or more hours at a time. Mrs. Sizemore passed away at Heritage Hall in Leesburg, VA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Fletcher Sizemore; son, Kenneth 'Kenny' Sizemore; parents. Roy and Agnes Fambrough; and brother, Roy Fambrough. She is survived by her son, Robert L. 'Bobby' Sizemore of Lucketts, VA; grandchildren, Michele, Melody, Terry, Kenneth Jr., and Charles 'C. B.'; and eight great grand- children. A Memorial Service will be held at the Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church in Taylorstown, VA, on Saturday, January 17, 2009, at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorial donations be made in her honor to the Mt.
