My father is Talmage Howard Sivils. He was born in Swartz, LA in 1918. His father was Glover Sivils and his mother was Maude Stewart. Both were from the general area of Laural, Miss. Two of Dad's sisters married Hollingsworth brothers, also from the Laural area (from Meridian to Hattiesberg). Glover had a sister named Tressie(who may still be alive) and a brother, Floyd, who died shortly before my father was born. Dad has mentioned once knowing of family in Ark. and TX. There may have also been a branch in FL. I will try to get more info from him in the next few weeks. I also have some photos of his grandparents (can't remember their names) and a photo of the students of a 1-room schoolhouse that has both my grandparents plus scads of other kids who are clearly related to me! It's eerie, I even "saw" my eldest daughter among them!

Hope this helps with something. Maybe your female Stewart is related to my grandmother?
