Many of us are researching the Sevedge family. However, the name has been spelled many different ways on various legal documents. I have traced the line back to Champness and Catherine Stroud Sevedge who were married 1810 in Harrison County, Indiana. He may be the son of John Sevedge who was born in Pennsylvania. I need verification of that data. It is believed John fought in the Revolutionary War under George Rogers Clark. Can anyone help me verify?
