There are a couple of very interesting things on this. One is that the first three participants on this test are an EXACT MATCH for the Johannes Seitz of Philadelphia c 1764 line, which was something that particular set of people were seeking to prove or disprove. The second bunch of results are from descendants who believe themselves to be from Johannes Heinrich Sides b c 1712 and Dorothea Elizabeth Feltzinger -that set also matches precisely. Leaves out MY line, however, which doesn't match anyone's yet.
There is another line whose results will be back within a few weeks, that of Peter Seitz NC m Barbara Carpenter, went to Davidson Co, TN.
Are you interested in taking the DNA test? The information is on that link, above. I'd like to see another descendant of Andrew Sides of Mecklenburg Co, NC take it, as well as the Seitz who went to Louisianna.
