Nettie was the great grandaughter of John Sitz b.1803 in North Carolina, the grandaughter of William Russell Sitz, b. 1833 in Warren County, Tennesse - d. 1879
and daughter of William Wyatt Sitz, b. 1866 in Gadsden , Alabama - d. 1947 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
