This to correct my post and provide some additional information. John or Jonathan SITTON was born 26Apr1817. His first wife was Elizabeth Carolina ROBERTS. She died of Cholera on 7Aug1867 near the Mississippi River in Louisiana. Four of her nine children also died of Cholera that August and are buried with their mother.
John died 22May1904 and is buried in the Rock Springs Cem. in Nacogdoches Co., Texas; he was not buried in the Friendship Cem. with his second wife,Elizabeth Frances (WADE),widow WHITAKER.
