I have a tangled web to unweave in the family of Robert and Mary Sitlington. I have their daughter Mary Margaret married to James Givens. James Givens had more than one wife. My husband is descendant through a marriage which took place between two of James' children, Mary Sitlington; daughter of RobertSitlington and Mary Feamster, is listed as one of his wives. I do not know who their mother's were because he had at least three wives and most of the children are listed on LDS.org on each of his wives. James' children who married are Robert (b. 1758) born in Augusta, VA and Martha Givens (b. 1761) also born in Augusta, VA. Their child Mary Polly, born 1802 in Sanford, Lincoln, KY, was married to McGee Harris (b. 1800) in Wilson, Tennessee. McGee was my husband ggg-grandfather.
Would love if someone could contact me and let me know if any of this information sounds familiar. I am working off of a relatives information. She has since passed so I am unable to find out where she got this information from. Look forward to speaking with you!
