Catherine Sitler b1730 Baltimore,MD or Lncaster,PA daughter of Mathias Sitler b1710 or 1714( in yours 1716 is close enough), was married to Jesse LeMaster wft est 1733-1762. There is an issue on this in the LEMASTER book which my mother used to own and on my researches.You have indicated in your past message that you have more info on Mathias' fathers/parents and so on. I have some but just like I said there maybe some discrepancies. As to the SITLER spelling Frederick's father changed his from Sidler to Sitler. Why the change? Do you know who Frederick Sitler's parents were and his grandparents too?
As to the LEATH side I descended from Josiah b1746 Frederick Co,VA down to his son James b1784 Shennandoah Co,VA. Josiah b1769 Frederick Co,VA was a brother to James and there was no John of some sort. The rest of the siblings were Miriam, Elizabeth, George, Barbara, Ebenezer. Their mother was Elizabeth Leith born abt 1748,VA. I don't think we have a connection. If there is, it maybe down the long crooked line. Well, thanks for the response & good luck.
