Jack,
In response to your question for information regarding
"Enoch Levi Sites, Jr." b. around 1830, here's what I
found.
The information I have lists only an Enoch Sites
(son of Abraham and Modlin) born ca. 1929-31
in Curtois Twp. His first son was named Levi Sites.
Furthermore, this township is listed as being not in
Virginia, but in Crawford Co., Missouri.
Hope this helps! -Tim

"Genealogical Records of the Seitz/Sites Family, Volume 1" (Beck, Gibson, 1984) contains the following:
Starting with Enoch Sites' parents:
Abraham "Ham" Sites (son of Daniel, grandson of George Seitz) (b. ca. 1807) and Modlin/Magdalena/Maud Detrick (b. ca. 1809). In the 1840 Census, Abraham Sites was listed in Hardy Co. as having the following in his household: one male and 1 female b. 1811-20, 1 female b. 1826-30 (unidentified), 1 male and 1 female b. 1831-35 (Enoch and Magdalene/Modlin) and 1 female b. 1836-40 (unidentified). It is possible that Abraham was married before his marriage to Madlin Detrick as per the following deed dated 5 Mar. 1836 in which Abraham Sites and wife Rebecca sell to Caleb and Nathan Hinkle..a part of the same lands Abraham sold to Jacob Deterick. A later deed, dated 21 June 1838, shows Abraham and Modlin Sites (deed) to Jacob Getts.
Children (of Abraham Sites and Modlin Detrick):
1) Enoch Sites. This is probably the Enoch Sites b. ca. 1829-31 [19 in 1850, 31 in 1860 Census for Curtois Twp., Crawford Co., Missouri]
Enoch Sites, b. ca. 1829-30. Died before 1870 census.
Married (in Virginia) Dorcas "Darky" Sites (daughter of Jacob and Mary) [b. 3 Aug. 1823 Hardy Co., d. before 6 Sept. 1893)
Children of Enoch and "Darky" Sites:
1) Levi Sites, b. ca. 17 April 1854. He was probably unm.; called "an incompetent person" in deeds dated 13 Mar. 1897 in which Levi Sites "by guardian" deeded to Seymour Sites land in Crawford Co. (the land left to him by his mother)
2) Mary M. Sites, b. 18 Jan 1856, Virginia. This is probably the Mary Sites who married John Mitchell and died young leaving a daughter. John Mitchell married his second wife Cindy, with whom he had 4 more children: Suzie, Ruth, May, and Johnny. Mary's daughter, Della Mitchell, married Henry Burgess, and had two children: Meredith Burgess, who went to Colorado, and Lee Burgess.
3) William Seymour (Seymore) Sites, born 24 May 1858, Virginia. D. 17 Feb. 1935 near Bourbon, Crawford Co., Missouri.
4) Jason Batteal "Battle" Sites, b. May 1860 Missouri.

William Weymour (Seymore) Sites married ca. 1886, Clara E. Allen, b. 20 Jan 1867 near Sullivan, Missouri, d. 2 Feb. 1947 "age 80 years and 13 days". Of their eleven children (7 born by 1900, 2 dead), three had died before their father, and four before their mother; at the death of Clara E. (Allen) Sites, 27 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren survived. Their children (from obituaries in scrapbooks of "Lucy" (Sites) Pennock and census):
1) Etta Viola Sites, b. 29 Apr. 1887, d. 16 July 1950 (age 63 years, 2 months and 17 days)
