Hi Karl,

Amanda is the daughter of John and Dorothy Lowry Law. She was William's sister. I knew of Amanda from the census records but found the Sites connection from Dorothy's obituary. In the obit it lists a surviving daughter as Katie Sites. I found Cyrus and Catherine Sites in Ringgold in the 1880 census and tracked them through the censuses until in 1920 where "Katie" is listed as Amanda C. Sites. That's when I knew who it was. It gets hard to track my family sometimes with so many using their middle name for everyday use and the first name on official records. It definitely make genealogy more interesting.
