I have that Thomas Jefferson Sistrunk was born Jan. 26, 1822; d. March 27, 1868.
Elizabeth Bowyer b. abt. 1824; d. Oct. 1896.
They married Oct 1, 1840.
Children of Thomas J. Sistrunk and Elizabeth Bowyer are:
Marsena Elinor Sistrunk, b. 1841; d. 1885.
George Bowyer Sistrunk, b. 1843; d. March 1879.
Thomas Jefferson Sistrunk, son of George Sistrunk and grandson of Gasper Sistrunk I, lived in the St. George area. He served as Captain in the Confederate Army. Both he and his wife, Elizabeth, are buried in the Confederate Cemetery in St. George, SC. We have no further information on the son, George Bowyer Sistrunk, except that he is buried beside his parents in the Confederate Cemetery.
