I think there might be some connection to Jasper SUTTON who married Margaret CANTEY (the widow of John CHESNUT):

I am working on the area of Long Branch of Beaver Creek which flows into the Congaree River. I noticed that John SISTRUNK served under Capt William ALEXANDER of Col. Wade HAMPTON's Regt of Light Dragoons:

I wondered if the SISTRUNKs could be French emigrants who came to America from Switzerland ports?
