Elizabeth, I found the census you spoke of and yes it is unusual for Indians to be mentioned on a regular census. Maybe they didn't have an Indian census form in AR to register them on. I still can't find W.F. Sisson anywhere except the death info and marriage date and place info. Found your surname interesting though and here is the reason why. James M. West, b. 1885 in MS, d. 1965 in TN, m. Estelle Unknown and had a daughter, Truenella West that married a Mills and they had two children, James T. Mills and Katherine Mills who married a McGee and lived in Tucson, AZ. I wonder if your McGhee and my McGee may have had a spelling change from McGhee to McGee somewhere along the way.
