Does anyone know who the wife of this John Sisson is ? In 1780 KY Co. VA became Jefferson Co. – KY was admitted 1792 as the 15th state census: can not positively identify prior to 1810 census: 1810 KY, Jefferson Co., pg. 16, line 20 census: 1820 KY, Jessamine Co., pg. 88, line 12 census: 1830 KY, Jessamine Co., pg. 194, line 4 census: 1840 KY, Jessamine Co., (roll 29) pg. 111 census: 1850 IN, Sullivan Co., District No. 105, Hadden Twp., pg. 213, ln. 32 - apprears with daughter and son-in-law John & Ophelia March VA > KY, Jefferson>Jessamine (formed in 1798 from Fayette) Co. > IN, Sullivan Co., IN. Haddon, Carlisle, and Jefferson Land Patent record 40 acres John Sisson of Sullivan Co., Indiana dated October 1, 1852 Northwest quarter of the southwest quarter of section 2 in township 6 north of range 8 west… John could be buried in the Davidson Cemetery in Sullivan Co., IN that has been destroyed. There are only two markers left of which are Daniel Davidson, d. Mar 5, 1865 at age 75y and wife Mary, d. June 13, 1881 at age 90. Daughter and son-in-law's marriage bondsman: John Messick – perhaps a brother-in-law to John ? Benjamin W. Sisson (m: Miranda Davidson – note Davidsons also in Jessamine Co., KY near Sissons in census) and Charles Sisson of KY, Jessamine Co. Notify Administrator about this message?
