Hello Kim -- what a GREAT way to start a morning, finding a posting on the SISCO site from a DIRECT RELATIVE! We are also descendant from Thomas Franklin Sisco - you thru his first wife Georgia Ann Bates and us from his second wife Louzanna Bell Morris!

In answer to your question about Native American blood lines, Thomas Franklin Sisco's mother was 100% pure Cherokee Indian. Martha Jane Phillips born in TN October 15, 1837 married Emberson Sisco and that's how the Cherokee blood line is passed down.

I have a picture of BOTH Thomas Franklin Sisco and Martha Jane Phillips Sisco if you don't and would love to share!
