I am certain we are relatives. My name is Carl Sirman, and years ago we included the "s" at the end, but that was somehow dropped over the years.

My father's name was Carlton Sirman, and he was born and raised in Southern Georgia in a little farm town called Simon Hill, which is near Quitman and Valdosta. My grandfather was named Elihue Kellogg Sirmans. I am not certain where my grandfather was born, but I know he lived and raised his family in the Simon Hill area.

My father had a brother named Robert Sirmans who had a funeral home in Valdosta in the 40's and possibly early 50's.

My wife and I live in Somerset, New Jersey.

I truly welcome and appreciate the depth of history you have on the family. I truly want to keep in touch with you and all the other relatives that have posted/corresponded.

Carl Sirman
