Never worked for Andersen - would like to.Your work must be very interesting. My father William Wallace Sirmans and some of his brothers are buried at Cat Creek Cemetery.I know Daniel (GF) was born about 1872 and I found a listing of a Daniel Sirmans born to Amanda Catherine Sirmans in Berrien at about that time.In Pioneers of the Wiregrass I have found an Amanda Strickland b 1/7/53 (d/o Lucretia Sirmans and Charles Strickland). She married a F.B. Sirmans b 1857 (s/o Ezekiel, s/o Benjamin, s/o Josiah).Amanda and F.B. were first cousins.I am guessing that Amanda Sirmans was Amanda Strickland. There is something fishy about my GF - my family did not talk too much about him and dismissed questions by saying he was adopted.I wonder if he might have been conceived prior to parents' marriage. Will try to get more info through our local LDS family history center. It seems that the first 5 volumes of"Pioneers" does not have much on people about that age.Have you access to the other volumes? You have done quite a bit of research. How big a stretch is my assumption?Do you know if there is a listing of burials at Cat Creek Cemetery.I could get info on my father's sibleings.I know my GF and GM were buried together but not at Cat Creek. My sister remembers visiting the gravesite but doesn't know where it was.Any help would be appreciated.
