There are several Sirbaughs named James William. One is in my line. Mine was born in 1835 and died in 1862; he married Esther McDonald, daughter of George & Mary (Miller) McDonald. Mary is the sister of Stephen Miller, born about 1800. JWS and his only wife had two daughters: Mary Elizabeth (Sirbaugh) Miller and Ann Serena (Sirbaugh) Eaton. Mary Elizabeth married Amos Miller.

My source is the the Miller Family Bible. Refer to Wilmer L. Kerns, Ph.D., for a broader Sirbaugh genealogy in print. His book, "Frederick County, Virginia, ............," 1995, Gateway Press. Dr. Kerns has other publications dealing with genealogy - found in any genealogy bookstore. All are recommended for Sirbaugh data.

Refer to St.James Church records for a listing of the early SAARBACHs living in Loudoun County, VA, before 1800. Nota Bene: German language.
