UPDATE: Caleb Sipple, son of John "the younger" son of John "the elder" son of Garrett Sipple b. abt. 1750 married Celia (Seley) Clampitt ca 1779 and as far as i can tell did not fight in the Revolutionary War.

Caleb Sipple, the Revolutionary War Patriot, m. (1) Alice Walker, (2) Elishe Laws and (3) Mrs. Jane Darrell, b. abt. 1750 was son of Caleb Sr, son of Waitman II, son of Waitman I, son of Garrett Sipple.

Garret Sipple is the common progenitor of these two Calebs. Caleb the Patriot was the second cousin, once removed of Caleb m. Celia/Seley Clampitt.
