I have him as being Henry H Sipes and Henry Augustine Sipes. Henry H Sipes was married several times. One of them was my g grandmother Susan Martha ROSE, DILKS, JOHNSON. They were married in 1881 in Trenton Co, Missouri. They did not have any children. I am trying to find when Susan Martha died. I believe it was about 1890. Henry H Sipes the married Susie (Susan) Adair. She had a son Jonas Adair. I do not know if Adair was her maiden name or if she was married before. Henry and Susie were married 10 Feb 1894,Trenton, Grundy, Missouri

The following post were put on my Ancestry.com family tree

"Dependent and Neglected Children Sent Away" (The Decatur County Journal Leon, Iowa April 10, 1913) Judge Thos L. Maxwell arrived Monday from Creston and presided over a juvenile court, disposing of some cases that were demanding immediate attention ... In the case of the SIPES children. For some time the conditions surrounding have been a matter of general comment in the city. On hearing DICEY, CHARLES, LUELA and MAUDE SIPES were committed to the American Home Finding Society at Ottumwa, as neglected and dependent children. Miss Nellie V. Richards, of the home, arrived Monday afternoon, and departed on the night train for Ottumwa with the children. (Decatur County, Iowa IAGen Web Project - copied by Nancee [McMurtrey] Seifert)

Henry Augustine (?) Sipes is listed as having married Rosetta M on his WWI record. However he is listed with a Maria on the census.

Hope this helps.
