Goggling for Frederick Williams, I was brought to this genforum. Here is info on Capt Frederick Williams the father-in-law of Catherine Sipes. I have more data on Frederick's ancestry. Does anyone have additonal info on his wife Eleanor Hunt and her ancestors?

Notes for CAPTAIN FREDERICK WILLIAMS Loyalist to Nova Scotia
A retired officer of the British Army who settled in Nova Scotia, having received a land grant there. in 1785. [1],[5],[4], [6]
Capt Williams was from Westchester County, New York and a member of the Westchester Loyalists [15]. He settled in Wallace, (formerly Remsheg, Cumberland County) Annapolis, with his wife & 2 children; and then finally at St Mary's Bay, Digby, Nova Scotia. [3],[15]

1785 Draft Landgrant to the West Chester [NY] Loyalists ...by George the 3rd-to all of whom these presents come GREETING...have given and granted. and by these presents for us, our Heirs and successors, do give and grant unto: [list of names including Capt. Frederick Williams.].....each of them ...allottments of land...within the district hereinafter described that is to say Situate lying and being on the Harbour of Remsheg & Tatamagouche within the County of Cumberland Province of Nova Scotia...(descriptions of each of the lots of land).[4]
