Mississippi County Sipes-1900 Census

Hello, This will concern all of the Mississippi County Sipes.

The 1900 census for the Chickasawba District, on the 30th day of June 1900:
(states born in)
last first birth yrs mar widowed state fath moth
Sipes, Alfred C. Dec 1867 2 TN TN TN
Annie H. Mar 1891 2 yes cld/1 MS MS MS
Martin V mar 1899 ar tn ms
Dora may 1883 tn tn tn
Jeannie? jan 1895 tn tn tn
John H. oct 1892 tn tn tn

Ok, is also list all of the above children as sons and daughters where some others familys were listed as steps. Notice that Annie is born in MS. But all but Martin V. mother was born in TN. So was Alfred Clay Sipes previously married? I had heard this was possible. BUT, Annie H being widowed is new to me. AND with one child. DID THIS CHILD DIE? It doesn't list Clay as being widower either. Is there a mistake somewhere or am I looking at this wrong?

Also for anyone looking for a McGill related to Sipes...go to that forum and I will post a Census where I found some Mcgills.
