I am unsure which Daniel Sipes you are questioning. Daniel Sipe the Revolutionary War Soldier, 1772-1834, was the son of Johann Paulus Seib. He most likely went by Paul Sipe one he immigrated to America. He was born 12-23-1728 in Contwig, Germany; immigrated to PA in 1752, died in NC in 1800. His brother Johann Phillip Seib immigrated with him.
