Hi,
I don't have much in the way of anything on this family, but that doesn't mean much for me, the Sipes have been the "thorn in my side" for quite some time. Could my William Thomas Sipes tie into any of your family? He was born in May of 1854. Everything that I have come across says VA, but I can't verify it, therefore, I am beginning to wonder if that is true. I do know that he was around Brown County in 1878, that is where I find his first and second child born. I haven't been able to place his first marriage anywhere, so I don't know where it occurred. I do believe that her maiden was McDonough though. Does this help any? (hoping so!)
Thanks and I look forward to writing with you!
Susan
