William J Sinnott is my family member who came from Ireland. I do not know where he came from in Ireland but since the Sinnott's are known to be from County Wexford maybe there? I do not know where he arrived or when but the current thinking is he arrived in Canada and stayed with Sinnott family there. We have been told he was related to Mack Sennett(Michael Sinnott). William married Ann Nevel who was also from Ireland. Again we don't know where in Ireland. They were married in Michigan judging by a census I stumbled on. Their son who my branch is descended from was also named William J and he was born in Michigan in 1857. Judging by his obit we know he had 2 brothers and 1 sister but no names were listed. On the same census where I saw that the parents were married in Michigan I discovered they had a daughter named Josephine born in Michigan in 1856. If you can help me in any way it would be great.
