John Sink Roanoke, VA
My paternal grandfather was John (I think Tyree) Sink and lived in Roanoke, VA.He and his wife, Eula, had 5 children, 4 of which survived to adulthood;
Lucy (Mrs. Billie T. Lamb), Nancy (Mrs. Richard Porterfield), William Herbert Sink, and my father, Earnest Galen Sink, born 7-18-1922 (and buried) in Vinton, Va,died 7-28-1989.
He married my mother, Mavis Joy Paulson, (born 5-4-24 in Dekalb, IL) on 3-21-1948.I was born in Dekalb, IL on 2-17-1949.My brother, Dennis Carl Sink, was born in Dekalb, IL 6-27-1950.
Having said all of that, I would like to knowif anyone can help me go back from John and Eula Sink.I do know that they were married and lived in Roanoke, VA until John's death.I do not have any dates for his birth or death but know that at one time he was a finish carpenter for the Norfolk and Western Railroad making Pullman cars.
