I think there is confusion as to the father's name of Stephen and Abraham Sink.My family history tree shows that Michael was their father, and that he was born in 1722, possibly Chester, PA.Michael's wife was Mary Ryel.
The tree also shows that they had 7 children; Mary, Jacob, Paul, John, Stephen, John and Abraham.Stephen and his wife Susan are buried on the old Sink farm where their grandsons had a burial stone mounted in their honor, since Stephen served in the Revolutionary War.
Rebecca Reuben Dyer posted on "Find a Grave" from the DAR #A104479 and Pension # S6103 that Abraham Sink was born February 12, 1762 in Northampton, Pennsylvania and died on February 1, 1847 in Franklin Co., VA.He served in the Revolutionary war and began to receive a pension on September 4, 1832 of $100 a month.
She also wrote that he was a private in the Pennsylvania Continental Line in General Washington's Life Guard and in the Marechasusse (corps of mounted police).
