After finding James and Sarah Singleton in the 1850 Anderson County, SC census, did you locate their children James Columbus Singleton born about 1841 and Millie Jane Singleton born March 29, 1843? They were not listed with the family. Could they have been with grandparents?
Has there been any hint of information about where they were married or where in North Carolina James was born?
