I am trying to find descendants of John C. Singleton who was a Private in Company H, 67th North Carolina Infantry during the war between the states. He was born 4/14/1844 and died 2/14/1918. He is buried in Maplewood Cemetery in Durham, North Carolina. He and 42 other Confederate soldiers in two sections of the cemetery will be receiving new headstones. There will be a dedication ceremony in May of 2009.
