William James Andrew Singleton ,born ant 1806

I have very little information on James. He married Sarah Wright around 1840 in NC. He disappeared sometime after 1853 when his son Frank was born. He was not listed in the 1860 census. Sarah went on to marry Sloman W. Wynn and died in Love County, OK. Any help out there.
