Just some additional information i just came across. There is a Mason Singleton the 1820 Jessamine County Kentucky Census and I am assuming this is probably Manoah (I see I mispelled it) Mason Singleton alive and well past 1813. Since the Historical Society post on Rootsweb mentions the newspaper mentioning the estate of Manoah Singleton around 1814 and 1815 in articles, one would assume this is the father who died in around 1813 or the man called Manoah Nathaniel Hawkings Singleton. IT could not be his son and many genealogists have the son Manoah Mason as dying in 1833 which does not seem likely as he is on the census under his middle name in 1820. Not to answer my own question but does this information help anybody else? Julie
